Casey McCorry

I’m a writer, editor, and podcast producer based in metro-Detroit, Michigan. I have worked in marketing and communications for over ten years. I’ve written about everything from Dr. Bronner's castile oil soap, to cult deprogramming, kelp-farming Shinnecock to refugee-rescuing priests. You can see my writing in Slate, The Guardian, Salon, NY Mag, Business Insider and more. I have produced and scripted an award-winning podcast series, Detroit Stories, and have directed a 6-part documentary film series.

I have worked in Los Angeles and Chicago and now live and work in Royal Oak, MI with four curly-headed children and my husband. I spend my free time "eating stories like grapes."
